Dr. David Hawkins in his book "Power vs Force – The Hidden Determinants of Human Behaviour" conducted a study where he measured the energy fields of consciousness with seventeen different emotions. The three emotions that recorded the lowest numbers were shame, guilt and despair. Surprising fear was the fifth lowest. The emotions that recorded the highest numbers were enlightenment, peace, joy and love.
So threatening negotiation stances, shaming ideologies and guilt-ridden narratives have a big effect in lowing our vibration and controlling us to conform into someone else's agenda.
As humans we are social creatures. So, to fit into social constructs we tend to create social standards for ourselves and for society. We build our identity around these standards.
